SynCloud AI is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our AI-native infrastructure platform, including the customer portal, the LML Playground, and the SynCloud Local Agent.
We collect information to operate, maintain, and improve our services. This data falls into three categories:
Account and Registration Data: When you register, we collect your email address, name, and organization name. If you use OAuth (e.g., Google or GitHub) to log in, we collect information permitted by that provider.
Billing Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect necessary payment information, which may be processed directly by a third-party payment processor.
Support and Communication Data: Information you provide when contacting our support team or using the public contact form.
This data is crucial for delivering the core SynCloud service:
LML Requests (Prompts): We collect and retain the natural language requests (prompts) you submit to the Playground or via the Local Agent.
Infrastructure Context: We log the AWS resources created, modified, or deleted, including resource names, types (e.g., EC2, S3), and resulting configuration details (e.g., region, size).
Usage Metrics: We track API key usage, request volume, success/failure rates, and associated metadata (e.g., which user or organization made the request).
Activity Logs: We record system actions, provisioning events (including the generated Terraform or CloudFormation output), and administrative activities within the Admin Console.
Technical Data: We collect information about how you access our services, including IP address, browser type, operating system (Mac, Windows, Linux), referring URL, and unique identifiers for the SynCloud Local Agent.
Cookies and Tracking: We use cookies and similar technologies (managed via our React/Next.js frontend and Redis backend) to manage user sessions, maintain login status, and analyze website traffic.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
Service Provisioning: To execute the core function of SynCloud—automating the provisioning and management of your requested AWS infrastructure via the LML agent.
Product Improvement & Training: We use LML requests and infrastructure outcomes to train and improve the accuracy and security of our Language Model Layer (LML) and related automation agents.
Account Management: To register and manage your user account, process payments, and provide you with API keys.
Security and Auditing: To monitor activity for potential security issues, prevent fraud, and provide administrators with access to the Admin Console and Audit Log.
Communication: To send you service notifications, policy updates, and respond to your support requests.
Performance Monitoring: To monitor the health, performance, and stability of our FastAPI backend, Postgres database, and Redis cache.
We will not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:
With AWS: Your natural language prompts and the resulting infrastructure code (Terraform) are securely transmitted to your designated AWS account via your provided credentials to provision resources. This is essential to the service.
Service Providers: We share data with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting (for our platform stack), payment processing, and analytics. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of SynCloud, our users, or the public.
Business Transfers: If SynCloud is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including using encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and modern authentication mechanisms (OAuth). Your API keys and AWS credentials are managed securely and should never be exposed in client-side code.
Access and Update: You can access and update your account information (name, email) through the customer portal.
API Key Management: You can generate and revoke your API keys at any time via the customer portal dashboard.
Marketing Communications: You can opt out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the unsubscribe link in those emails.
We retain your personal information, LML requests, and Activity Logs for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide you with the services, comply with our legal obligations, and for internal reporting and model training purposes.
